What we have been doing in our community:

Holiday Cheer for Stars Academy

This holiday season, we were thrilled to assemble 28 Holiday Bags for the children and families of Stars Academy, a daycare in Port Charlotte, FL.

Each bag was thoughtfully curated to include both practical items and special gifts to make the season brighter.

Here’s what we included:
  • Handmade Blankets: Crafted and donated with love by Beyond Ourselves - PGICA and The Linus Project.
  • Toothbrushes & Toothpaste: Essentials for promoting healthy smiles.
  • Safety Items: Helping families childproof their homes with furniture anchors, door knob covers, and other essential tools.
  • Growth Chart: To celebrate every milestone as little ones grow.
  • A Book: Inspiring a love for reading and learning.
We were honored to work on this project and bring holiday joy to the children and their families.

Acts of kindness like these are made possible by the generosity of our supporters, partners, and donors.

A Night of Wonder at The Great Mr. Swindle's Traveling Peculiarium!

We had an unforgettable time at this one-of-a-kind circus experience! A huge thank you to the Kiwanis Club of Englewood-Cape Haze for their generous $1,250 donation, which will directly support our programs.

We’re also grateful to our Fatherhood Coordinator, Jerri, for volunteering at the event, giving back to the community, and connecting with some truly amazing people.

What a fantastic night

Supporting Families at the SW Area Riders Rally & Veterans Exposition

Our Fatherhood Coordinator, Jerri, had the opportunity to attend the SW Area Riders Rally in Punta Gorda, FL, where she set up a table to share information about our programs.

Hosted by the American Legion, this incredible event brought together families, veterans, and community members.

We were honored to take part and help connect families with valuable resources that make a difference.
